Hi there!
My name is Emma Nora Murphy, and I’m a graphic design graduate based in Dublin and from Wexford. Having spent the last four years immersed in the exceptional design world of IADT, I was delighted to receive a first-class honours for my work.
I have an engaging passion for Branding, Research, Illustration, Motion, UX/UI and copywriting. I'm dedicated, hardworking and a creatively curious individual. I excel working in a fast-paced studio environment where I can continue to grow and improve my skills. Collaborating with other designers to produce strong, concept-driven projects is something I love to do, and I'm excited to apply my skills alongside a team.
Currently living in Dublin, I'm ready to put my multidisciplinary skills to work by crafting vibrant and concept-driven projects that leave a lasting impression focusing on design for good and meaningful change. I believe that a solid research foundation amplifies the design development stage of projects, and I pride myself on being intuitively skilled in this area.

Innocent smoothie promotion, Packaging design, and editing videos for clients such as; Benecol and BYD Auto.
02. Waitress + Bartender | The Searooms | June-August 2023
03. Assistant Photographer | Good as gold | June 2023
Set up shots and, assisted in art direction, helped extensively in filming.
04. Waitress + Barista | Trimmers Lane Cafe | 2016-2022
Taking orders, making coffee and serving guests. Ensuring customers had a relaxed and enjoyable visit. Seasonal hand-drawn murals on cafe wall (see in work section).
05. Motion Designer | IADT | November 2020
Commissioned by the head of faculty to create a motion piece for the website.
This video helped applicants apply to the college digitally during the pandemic.
Achievements:
1. Commended and shortlisted in the Brand Identity category for the IDI Graduate Awards 2023.
2. Designed Opera Poster with RIAM (Royal Irish Academy of Music).
3. Created a Visual Identity for the Finnish Embassy, celebrating 60 years of Ireland and Finland Diplomatic Relations.
4. Participated in the “Digital Mythologies” workshop as part of the IADT Erasmus + Programme.
5. Actively learning Irish Sign Language (Beginner).
